The Tbilisi Silk Road Forum is a “great platform where ideas meet action”, Ilia Darchiashvili, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, said about the event that opened on Thursday in Georgia’s capital city.
Darchiashvili said the event would bring “tangible results in tackling existing challenges” and “unleashing new opportunities” in the global economy.

Over 2,000 delegates and visitors from 63 countries from both governmental and private sectors are participating in the event.
The Forum will host 10 thematic sessions as well as discussions of Georgia’s investment opportunities and B2B meetings.
The Forum was founded by Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili in 2015.
