Ties between churches of Georgia and Greece were discussed on Friday in a meeting between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Archimandrite Ephraim, the abbot of the Great Holy Monastery of Vatopedi of Mount Athos in Greece.
The Georgian Government Administration said the Greek religious figure extended his invitation for the Prime Minister to visit Mount Athos.
The abbot was a part of the Great Holy Monastery of Vatopedi of Mount Athos delegation members at their meeting with the PM in Government Administration.
