Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Friday pledged the process of reforms in the country would continue until Georgia became a "full-fledged member of the European Union”.
Darchiashvili noted his meeting with Josep Borrell, the visiting European Union High Representative, had reviewed "all questions Georgia and the European Union have within the framework of the bilateral format”.

“This is a very important visit both in terms of practicality and time, and I am sure it will have a relevant impact on the processes, because we discussed with Borrell in great detail the work the Government has done in order to fulfill the 12 recommendations [set out by the European Commission] for Georgia to receive the candidate status”, Darchiashvili said.
The top Georgian diplomat added the conditions for granting the country the status were a "part of the domestic reforms", and further pointed out they served to "enable us to live in a better country”.
