Vakhtang Gomelauri, the Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs, on Thursday held a farewell meeting with the United States Ambassador Kelly Degnan, who has completed her diplomatic term in the country.
Gomelauri extended his gratitude to Degnan for her contribution to the development and capacity-building of the Ministry.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister Aleksandre Darakhvelidze and Sarah Rupert, the Embassy’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Director at the, the Ministry said.
