ZEG, the first international storytelling festival in the region, will be held in Tbilisi between June 8-10, bringing together leading professionals from various industries who will share their unique ways of telling a story.
The festival, founded by the Impact Hub Tbilisi and Coda Story in 2019, will include panel discussions, sessions, film screenings, workshops, city tours, and informal events. Discussions will be held about cinema, media, photography, education and literature, entrepreneurship, as well as environmental protection and technology.

Visitors to the three-day festival will have the opportunity to learn about both traditional and innovative methods of storytelling and get inspiration for their work. The European Press Prize award ceremony will also be held at ZEG, which encourages the highest achievements in European journalism and will host about 150 leading journalists, both from Europe and different countries in Tbilisi.

About 40 foreign speakers will participate in the festival, Armando Iannucci, the famous Scottish satirist, writer and director, Maria Ressa, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate and Adam Neuhaus, the Senior Director of Development for ESPN Films and the creative director of the documentary series 30 for 30.
A two-time Oscar-nominated cinematographer Phedon Papamichael, Sevgil Musayeva, the chief-editor of internet publishing Ukrainska Pravda and Olivia Arthur, the documentary photographer, as well as Claudia Milne, the Vice President of CBS News, Joe Sabia, the creator and voice of Vogue’s 73 Questions and Sarah Natochenny, the American voice actress, will also attend the festival, along with many other leading professionals from around the world.
