Georgia received $535.3 million from abroad in December 2022, which is 133.2 percent more than the amount in December 2021, the National Bank of Georgia said on Monday.
Russia ($317.31 million), Italy ($43.20 million) and the United States ($34.30 million) were the largest remittance senders last month.

Overall, the vast majority (98.2%) of all money transfers from abroad came from 24 countries.
Last month, remittances leaving Georgia totalled $33.8 million, as compared to $33.3 million in December 2021.
