Tbilisi City Hall is working to launch an application enabling residents to post information about issues of infrastructure throughout the capital and receive updates on works for solving them.
Mayor Kakha Kaladze revealed on Wednesday citizens would be able to report problems such as damage to roads, trees and plants through the app, entitled Fix Tbilisi. Users will also be able to enter reports on issues in recreational parks and of outdoor lighting in the city.
Reports of acts of defacement of public infrastructure will also be accepted by the app, before the information is delivered to city services. Information on response from the agencies will then be delivered to users reporting the issues.
Kaladze said the app would be launched on May 1, with further details about the software to be revealed next month.
