Russia ($467.1 million), Turkey ($387 million) and China ($246.4 million) were the top trading partners of Georgia in its total external trade turnover between January and February, preliminary data from the National Statistics office of Georgia shows.
Georgia's top partners by exports were Armenia ($133.1 million), Russia ($128.2 million) and China ($112.4 million), while the top markets by imports were Russia ($338.8 billion), Turkey ($322.2 million) and China ($134 million).
Overall, Georgian external trade turnover amounted to $2.89 billion between January and February, posting a 12.3 percent increase year-on-year.
The value of exports rose by 20.3 percent and equalled $914.8 million, while imports also grew by nine percent, amounting to $1.98 billion in the first two months of 2023.
