Bilateral relations between Georgia and the Netherlands was a topic of discussion between Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili and Dutch Ambassador to Georgia Maaike van Koldam on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Khutsishvili expressed hope that the two countries would strengthen their partnership ties.

The Georgian Finance Minister highlighted the Netherland’s support for Georgia in the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, where the Dutch executive directors are representing Georgia.

The officials also discussed the impact of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on the Black Sea region and the wider world.

The Dutch diplomat pledged to continue supporting the Georgian government by financing the "priority fields" for the country.
