Georgian-Armenian relations were discussed in a meeting of Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on Tuesday in Tbilisi.
Garibashvili and Mirzoyan underlined the “friendly and neighbourly” relations between the countries in their discussion, the Georgian Government Administration said.
The current situation in the South Caucasus and the Peaceful Neighbourhood Initiative of the Georgian PM, which aims to establish a dialogue format in the region, were also reviewed.
In the meeting, the two sides noted Georgia had “always supported” peaceful cooperation and coexistence in the South Caucasus, and was “ready to contribute” to a regional dialogue.
