Helga Maria Schmid, the Secretary General of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe, on Thursday congratulated Georgia, Croatia and Slovenia on the 30th anniversary of their accession to the organisation.
In her message, Schmid underlined the three states had exhibited “a steadfast commitment” to OSCE principles since 1992.
You have been active and vocal proponents for peace, security and human rights in Europe and Eurasia. This has been most evident in recent weeks in your clear exhibition of compassion and support for the people of Ukraine,” Schmid said.
