The latest studies and articles published in leading English-language scientific journals, as well as international case law databases, are now available to the staff of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia via HeinOnline - an international Law Resources Database, the Ministry announced earlier on Monday.

The state body said free access to HeinOnline would make the process of bringing Georgian legislation closer to European Union legal standards more effective, strengthen activities based on scientific findings and analytics within the ministry, and promote human rights-oriented approaches and evidence-based policies.

Access to the international case law database has been provided to the ministry within the framework of the project Facility for the Implementation of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement II.
