The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) Academy hosted a leadership skills training for women organised by the US Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
The four-day course, led by INL Senior Police Advisor Larry Foukas, focused on various skills, such as leadership, decision-making, management and emotional intelligence.
The training sessions were attended by employees of multiple Georgian agencies, including MIA Academy, Public Safety Command Center "112", Central Criminal Police Department, Forensic-Criminalistics Department and Patrol Police Department.
INL has cooperated with MIA to implement trainings on issues like road safety, domestic violence, and building trust between the police and ethnic minorities in Georgia.
