Georgian patrol police trained in the US

Georgian patrol police officers and representatives of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia have undergone training in driving vehicles in extreme situations at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in the United States.

The training course has been carried out by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).

“The course involved practical and theoretical modules aimed at strengthening the Georgian police inspectors’ driving skills in extreme situations,” the MIA said today.

The MIA plans to send its employees to attend such trainings in the US in the future as well.

Head of the Patrol Police Department of the MIA, Teimuraz Kupatadze has attended the closing ceremony of the training course and met with the Governor of the state of Georgia, Nathan Deal.
