Georgia’s Mariam Bigvava finished third at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Yerevan on Sunday.

Bigvava, 11, earned 161 points from the jury after a performance of the song I believe, composed by producer Giga Kukhianidze, with judges from Poland and Armenia giving the highest 12 points to the singer.

Lissandro, a 13-year old young talent from France, won the competition with 203 points, while Armenia’s Nare came second with 180 points.

The 2022 contest brought together 16 contenders from around Europe.

The first Georgian contestant to win the Junior Eurovision was the band Bzikebi in 2008, while Candy earned the top prize in 2011 and Mariam Mamadashvili finished first in 2016.
