Georgian wrestlers win 8 medals, including 6 gold, at Gyor Cadet European Cup

Georgian athletes won six gold, one silver and one bronze medals at the Gyor Cadet European Cup judo competition in Hungary.

On the second day of the tournament, Saba Gvelesiani (competing in -90 kg category) and Shotiko Gochiashvili (+90 kg) each claimed gold, while Luka Beniaidze (+90 kg) and Giorgi Bendeliani (-81 kg) earned silver and bronze.

Shota Bachoshvili (-50 kg), Merab Samadashvili (-55 kg), Tornike Gigauri (-60 kg) and Giorgi Givishvili (-66 kg) earned their gold medals on Saturday.

Hosted by the Hungarian city of Gyor over the weekend, the championship involved 380 judokas from 29 countries.
