Flights resumed at Kutaisi airport following runway renovation

Kutaisi international airport in Georgia’s west has resumed flights after a two-week pause caused by renovation of its runway, United Airports of Georgia announced on Monday.

Repairs were carried out on a section of the foundation of the 2.5 km-long runway, the body also noted.

The ₾8 million (about $2,822,052) renovation project was fully funded by UAG.
