Regional peace and stability, as well as the signing of an updated cooperation agreement between Georgia and Turkey were two of the items on the agenda of Mustafa Sentop, the Speaker of The Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and Georgian officials hosting him on Monday.
Sentop met with the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, President Salome Zourabichvili and his counterpart Shalva Papuashvili as part of his official visit to the country, discussing the strategic partnership between Georgia and Turkey.
During the visiting official's meeting with Zourabichvili, the significance of peace and stability in the Black Sea region, and NATO’s involvement in the process were emphasised, along with the development of bilateral relations between Georgia and Turkey.
