Georgian police attaches awarded for their “successful activities” in Poland and Spain

Georgian police attaches, assigned to European countries of Poland and Spain, on Sunday were awarded for their “successful activities", the interior ministry announced. 

Colonel Giorgi Gamsakhurdia, a police attache, has been awarded gold medals by the Polish interior minister Mariusz Kamiński and Jarosław Szymczyk, the country’s police commander-in-chief for his “extraordinary” merits to the Polish police.

The ministry said the Georgian police attache in Spain, Shalva Shubladze has also received the Red Cross medal by Fernando Grande-Marlaska Gómez, the country’s interior minister, and noted that no foreign police attache has ever been awarded the mentioned type and high-ranking medal in Spain, adding the order has been given in consideration of the existing successful international police cooperation.
