The current issues of the bilateral agenda were discussed, on Friday, in a meeting between the Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili and Derek Chollet, the counsellor of the United States department of state, on the sidelines of the United Nations general assembly.
In his tweet, Garibashvili called the US's support “pivotal” on Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration path.

Garibashvili addressed the UN education summit on Tuesday and the general debate participants on Thursday, while he also held other high-level meetings.
