Georgia’s European integration process was discussed on Thursday in a call between the Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and his Czech counterpart Jan Lipavsky.
The officials reviewed the decision of the European Commission to grant Georgia a European perspective earlier this year and the conditions outlined for granting the country the membership candidate status, the Georgian foreign office said.
Darchiashvili informed his Czech counterpart about the steps taken by Georgia in implementing the EU conditions.

Ministers also highlighted the importance of a “unified approach” to the Associated Trio countries of Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine on part of the European Union.
In addition, Darchiashvili and Lipavsky also discussed the agenda of the existing relationship between the two countries and cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats.
