The Georgian national Paralympic judo team has returned from the European Judo Championships with six medals, the National Paralympic Committee said on Monday.
Giorgi Kaldani and Ina Kaldani claimed gold medals in the 73 kg and 70 kg weight categories respectively, while Zurab Zurabiani (60kg) earned a silver.
Nukri Migrijanashvili (60kg) and Lasha Kizilashvili (90kg) each claimed a bronze from the championships held between August 30-September 5 in Cagliari, Italy.
The Georgian national team defeated Italy in the team competition on the last day of the tournament to win another bronze and complete the medal haul.
