Tbilisi hosts 200 tennis players from 15 countries on international tournament

The international tournament Ten-Pro Georgia Cup 2022 launched on Sunday on the courts of Tennis Academy, named after Georgian professional tennis player Leila Meskhi, in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi, hosting 200 players from 15 different countries.

The tournament, being held with the support of the Georgian Tennis Federation and Leila Meskhi Tennis Academy, as well as Tbilisi City Hall and NPLE Tennis in Georgia, is a part of the international series of the Ten-Pro Global Junior Tour, which consists of 14 tennis competitions and is held annually in European countries, the United States of America and Australia.

200 young, world-class tennis players for the 10 to 15-year-old categories, being the target group of the competition, will have an opportunity to play in two different age categories.

The tournament is set to run between August 28 to September 4.
