The Hualing Free Industrial Zone in the western Georgian city of Kutaisi is expanding by another 22 hectares to reach 58 hectares, the Georgian Ministry of Economy announced on Tuesday.
The Economy Minister, Levan Davitashvili said that the expansion of the free industrial zone will help Hualing to attract additional investments and employ people.
The company takes the obligation to make an additional investment of several million to develop infrastructure and employ hundreds of people in the coming years" Davitashvili said.
Hualing Free Industrial Zone in Kutaisi has been operating since October 1, 2015. According to the government decree, the term of operation of the industrial zone on the territory of Kutaisi Automobile Factory is 30 years.
