Two Cuban musicians joined celebrations of Georgia’s Independence Day on Thursday with a performance of a popular Georgian song.
Georgia’s Foreign Ministry released a video of Lindiana Murphy and Rosa Garcia in a performance of Sakartvelo Lamazo (Beautiful Georgia) as their message of congratulation to the country’s citizens.
In the video, Garcia is seen on the piano, with Murphy performing the vocals of the popular song paying tribute to the country.
Georgia is celebrating its Independence Day, while simultaneously marking the 104th anniversary of the establishment of its First Democratic Republic in 1918.
The date is celebrated through various events not only in the country but also in partner states of Georgia.
