Italian police are searching for Sali Tetunashvili, a 27-year-old Georgian woman who went missing five days ago in Naples, Italy.
Tetunashvili’s mother told media her daughter had left home at 10 a.m. on January 22, with search operations launched in the evening.
The search was launched after the young woman stopped answering phone calls after 4 p.m. local time.
Georgian emigrants held rallies on January 25 in Italy requesting an intensification of search operations.
The Embassy of Georgia in Italy said earlier today information regarding the search operations was "intensively exchanged with the Consular Service of Georgia and the consulate is also in contact with the family".
