PM, Patriarch of Georgia discuss “important issues” for country, world events

Important issues for Georgia and current events in the world were discussed on Tuesday in a meeting between Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and the Catholicos Patriarch of Georgia Ilia II. 

Garibashviili said he had visited the Georgian Orthodox Church leader to discuss the subjects, and heard “wise thoughts and advice” that were “very interesting and worth considering”.

The Government head said it was “always a great honour” for him to be received by the head of the Patriarchate, and wished “good health” to the religious leader.
