Five civil activists have been detained near the ruling Georgian Dream party headquarter in downtown Tbilisi for ‘disobedience to the lawful request’ of a police officer.

The activists were holding a protest rally while the ruling party was holding a political council meeting earlier today.

Based on media reports, the confrontation between the activists and police started after the protesters tried to leave the stickers of former Georgian Dream leader Bidzina Ivanishvilis son Bera on the walls of the HQ.
