Georgia reports 399 new cases of coronavirus, 25,638 tests conducted

Georgia has reported 399 new cases of coronavirus, 356 recoveries and 10 deaths in the past 24 hours.

25,638 tests have been conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 15,093 of the 25,638 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 10,545 were PCR tests.

The country has had 279,027 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 

271,278 of the 279,027 patients have recovered, while 3,732 have died of the virus. 

Currently 3,991 individuals remain infected with Covid-19.

The new 399 cases were recorded in: 

• Tbilisi - 230 cases 
• Adjara - 22 cases 
• Imereti - 48 cases
• Kvemo Kartli - 23 cases 
• Shida Kartli - 17 cases 
• Guria - 9 cases 
• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 20 cases 
• Kakheti - 14 cases
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 4 cases
• Samtskhe-Javakheti - 3 cases
• Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 9 cases

1,515 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 302 of the 1,515 patients are in critical condition. 86 of the 302 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.

6,784 individuals are in self-isolation. 

More than 3,221,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
