The 22nd annual Tbilisi International Film Festival has come to a close as the jury announced the list of winners at the awards ceremony held in Georgia's capital of Tbilisi yesterday evening.

The festival's main prize Golden Prometheus was awarded to winners in the following categories:

Best Documentary

  • Glory to the Queen (directed by Tatia Skhirtladze and Anna Khazaradze)

Best Short Film

  • The Load (directed by Miranda Namicheishvili)

Best Feature Film

  • Otar's Death (directed by Soso Bliadze)

The jury's special mentions were given to:

  • Ensemble of Actors in Heatwave (directed by Tornike Gogrichiani)
  • Lights and Camera in Mirage Hotel (directed by Guram Bakradze)
  • Actor Levan Tediashvili for Brighton 4th (directed by Levan Koguashvili)
  • Actress Marine Kubaneishvili for Stuck Together (directed by Ilo Ghlonti)
  • Feature film Wet Sand (directed by Elene Naveriani)

The ceremony closed with the screening of The Crusade directed by French actor and director Louis Garrel.
