Three underground stations in Georgia's capital Tbilisi are serving as exhibition spaces for over a dozen artists, as the three-day Tbilisi Metro Fest is bringing their works to passersby.
Since Monday, commuters entering the Marjanishvili, Rustaveli and Freedom Square stations of the city's metro network have been presented with artwork and installations by 15 Georgian and foreign artists.
Organisers said they had selected the locations serving Tbilisi's "most crowded public transport" in the latest project of ArtUp - Street Gallery.
Described as a "movement creating alternative, non-traditional exhibition spaces" in cities across different countries, the collective describes itself as aiming to make works of art accessible to viewers in public spaces.
In Tbilisi Metro Fest, the line-up of selected artists features both creatives and projects previously featured in Tbilisi - such as illustration project Masholand and stencil artist Gagosh - and artists involved for the first time.

The roster also features Levan Amashukeli, Nino Bosikashvili, Chertova Tina, Litvinenko, Kacharava Maríam, Nika Qutelia, Elen Glazova, BIIMO, Maka Zedelashvili, Gio Tskvitinidze, NINVELI, Nino Khundadze and SARI KIMORO CLAN.
The festival is set to run at the three underground stations through December 8.
