The tour of Enguri dam is available daily except Monday from 11:00 to 05:00, the price of which ranges from five to 20 GEL.

The Enguri Hydro Power Plant's arch dam represents one of the country’s most distinguished cultural heritage sites, jointly operated by Georgia and Russian-occupied Abkhazia, as it lies on the Enguri River, separating the two areas.

Construction of the Enguri dam began in 1961 and was completed in 1977. At that time, the construction was unprecedented for its scale and ambition.
