Georgia has reported 5,085 new cases of coronavirus, 4,428 recoveries and 62 deaths in the past 24 hours.
47,884 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.
51,440 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 36,162 of the 51,440 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 15,278 were PCR tests.
The country has had 819,182 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
9.11 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.

759,657 of the 819,182 patients have recovered, while 11,615 have died from the virus.
The new 5,085 cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 1,815 cases
- Adjara - 202 cases
- Imereti - 997 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 330 cases
- Shida Kartli - 497 cases
- Guria - 122 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 427 cases
- Kakheti - 358 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 139 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 152 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 46 cases

6,588 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,698 of the 6,588 patients are in critical condition. 377 of the 1,698 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
40,193 individuals are undergoing treatment at home.
44,925 individuals are in self isolation.
2,107,467 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, of which 982,714 have been completely vaccinated.

Covid-19 ‘green’ passes will come into force in Georgia starting December 1, obliging the public to present proof of vaccination, testing or recovery from Covid-19 when entering certain establishments.

A total of 117 medical workers and 17 pregnant women have died from Covid-19 in Georgia since the outbreak of the virus in February 2020 as of October 1, 2021, the Georgian National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says in its recently released report. Between February 2020 and October 1, 2021 healthcare workers accounted for 6.4% of total confirmed cases.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili says that the Georgian government will never introduce compulsory COVID vaccination. In an interview for the Georgian Public Broadcaster on November 23, Garibashvili also stated that the number of anti-vaxxers is not the fault of either the government or the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). He noted that anti-vaxxers exist not only in Georgia, but also in the leading, developed countries.
