Georgia ranks 29th of 194 counties in a Business Bribery Risk Index 2021, while in 2020 the country ranked 28th in the list, Trace International reports.
The Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) reports that the business corruption index in Georgia has deteriorated since 2017 by three points.

The lowest risk of corruption in business at the international level is in Denmark, while the highest risk was detected in North Korea.
The leading countries with the lowest business bribery risks are Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, New Zealand, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Canada.

As for other South Caucasian countries, Azerbaijan ranks 140th in the list and Armenia 47th.
