The ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party plans a parallel vote count (Parallel Vote Tabulation) on election day to independently verify election results.

Parallel Vote Tabulation, sometimes called a Quick Count, is a proven methodology employed by nonpartisan citizen observers to independently verify official election results.

Member of the Georgian Dream party Shalva Papuashvili said that the party will conduct parallel counting of votes in all polling stations.

When ballot papers are counted, copies of summary protocol papers are usually given to all parties. The Georgian Dream party will enter the protocols into a database in a timely manner. The public will be informed about the results of the voting several hours earlier than the Central Election Commission announces final results by election precincts”, said Papuashvili earlier today.

Papauashvili also said that the ruling GD party has created a portal - http://elections2021.ge, where the public will be able to receive important information about election day, including voters turnout.
