Finland, Sweden and Norway have expressed their gratitude to Georgia for ensuring safe and swift transit for their citizens evacuated from Afghanistan via Tbilisi International Airport after the Taliban took control of Kabul in mid-August.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland has tweeted:

Foreign Minister of Sweden Ann Lande has sent her Georgian counterpart David Zalkaliani a letter, expressing her gratitude for the support from Georgia.
Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Georgia Helene Sand Andresen has also tweeted:

Meanwhile, FM Zalkaliani has thanked the ministry personnel for their commitment to the safe evacuation process of Georgian citizens from Afghanistan.

He further noted that in this humanitarian mission Georgia has also served as a “hub” by ensuring the transit of over 2,500 other passengers from Afghanistan to their respective countries via the Tbilisi International Airport.
