Israeli airline company Israir Airlines is returning to the Georgian aviation market after a one-month pause, announces Deputy Economy Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili.
Israir Airlines will start carrying out Tel Aviv-Batumi flights next month.
It is important that despite the Covid pandemic, the tourism and aviation sectors are recovering at a rapid pace. Israel is a very important market for our country", said Kvrivishvili.
Israel recently removed Georgia from the ‘red country’ list, meaning that starting September 1 Israeli tourists will be allowed to travel to Georgia again, but will be subjected to self-isolation or quarantine upon their return home.
