180 new 8-meter buses will appear in Tbilisi, said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze earlier today.
A price study will be carried out in the near future and then we will announce a tender for the purchase,” he said.
Moreover, he said that the new 12-meter 100 buses which have already been bought will soon come into the country and this will fully complete the process of replacing the yellow buses.
He said that no yellow buses will operate in Tbilisi anymore, instead citizens will be served by new 12-meter, 10-meter and 8-meter buses.
Kaladze also spoke about the mini buses and said that the programme to change them has already begun.
The mayor noted that the complete rearrangement of routes and directions is planned as well.
