Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Infrastructure Minister Maia Tskitishvili says that 'our international guests' can still visit the Georgian region of Adjara via flights that connect Georgia to other countries.

She said that tourists will be greeted by a country which has been opening step by step and will be finally prepared for the touristic season.

Tskitishvili said that today's meeting with the local business society discussed the plan on how to reopen tourism.

We can not unilaterally reopen tourism... we all live in a world where the probability of unpredictable decisions is very high", Tskitishvili said.

She said that meetings with businesses will continue and the government will meet market representatives and tour operators in the coming days.
