Coronavirus: 2,617 new cases of 43,394 tests in 24 hours

Georgia has reported a total of 2,617 new cases of Covid-19 after conducting 43,394 tests over the last 24 hours.

Out of the new 2,617 cases 1,485 were reported in Tbilisi.

Other cases were reported in:

  • Adjara – 236
  • Imereti – 220
  • Kvemo Kartli – 153
  • Kakheti - 152
  • Shida Kartli – 123
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 111
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 45
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti - 44
  • Guria – 31
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 17

Meanwhile, 869 people have recovered and nine individuals have died.

Health and state officials call on the citizens eligible for vaccination to register at booking.moh.gov.ge and receive any of the four vaccines currently available in Georgia - Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm and Sinovac – and protect their health and the health of their beloved ones.
