Fire breaks out again in Vashlovani Protected Area in Dedoplistskaro municipality

A fire has broken out again in the Vashlovani Protected Area in Georgia’s south-eastern Dedoplistskaro municipality today.

Firefighters have been deployed on the spot. Two helicopters of the interior ministry border police will join in extinguishing the fire.

Difficult terrain has prevented the special vehicles to access the location of the fire.

The fire first broke out in Vashlovani after lightning hit trees in the protected area.
