An anti-vaxxer has beaten up his wife after she received a Covid-19 vaccine, executive director of women rights organisation Sapari, Baia Pataraia, wrote on her Facebook page.
Pataraia notes that the woman reported the event to the police and her husband has already been detained.
The woman was so scared we [organisation staff] could hardly convince her to report to the police”, Pataraia wrote.
Pataraia hopes the detained man will not be released on bail.
“Recently judges have been behaving very badly and releasing abusers on bail”, says Pataraia.
The incident happened on June 17.
