Kyrgyz airline Air Manas to carry out Bishkek-Batumi-Bishkek flights starting today

Kyrgyz airline Air Manas has decided to start charter flights to Georgia and link the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, to Georgia's Black Sea resort town of Batumi, announces the Ministry of Economy of Georgia.
Air Manas will start the Bishkek-Batumi-Bishkek flights today.
The entry of another new airline onto the Georgian market is good news. Each new airline that is added to our aviation market in the post-pandemic period is a very good thing and will lead to a rapid recovery of tourism. At the same time, this is the first time that air traffic between Kyrgyzstan and Georgia has started. So, we are expecting Kyrgyz guests not only in Adjara, but throughout the country", said Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava.
The Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia has granted the permit to Air Manas to operate charter flights in Georgia on June 17.
The largest private airline operating in Kuwait, Jazeera Airways, is resuming flights to Georgia, announces the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency. Jazeera Airways will carry out Kuwait-Tbilisi-Kuwait flights starting June 3.
Moldova's low-cost airline FlyOne will carry out flights between the country's capital city of Chisinau and the Black Sea resort city of Batumi, announces the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency. The Chisinau-Batumi-Chisinau flights will be carried out two times a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, from June 4 to October 1.
Greek airline company Aegean Airlines will resume flights on the route Athens-Tbilisi-Athens starting June 3, announces the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency. At first, flights will be carried out once a week, while the number of flights will gradually increase during the summer season, says the agency.
Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava has said that the number of airline companies that are either increasing the frequency of weekly flights or new airlines that want to enter the country 'is growing very fast'.
