Coronavirus: 1,092 new cases of 29,734 tests in 24 hours

Georgia has reported 1,092 new cases of coronavirus, 775 recoveries and 23 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

In total, 29,734 tests have been conducted around the country of which 20,425 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 9,309 were PCR tests.

The new cases were recorded in: 

• Tbilisi - 586 cases 
• Imereti - 131 cases
• Kvemo Kartli - 81 cases 
• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 61 cases 
• Shida Kartli - 58 cases 
• Adjara - 56 cases 
• Kakheti - 53 cases
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 31 cases
• Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 16 cases
• Samtskhe-Javakheti - 11 cases
• Guria - 8 cases 

Currently 9,156 individuals remain infected with Covid-19, of which:

• 5,502 patients are undergoing treatment at home
• 3,059 patients - in hospitals 
• 595 patients - in the clinical-hotels

In addition, 677 patients are in critical condition of which 191 are on artificial ventilation.

As of today 11,528 individuals are in self-isolation and 34 individuals are under quarantine.

Since February 26, 2020 Georgia has had 355,368 cases of coronavirus, 341,103 recoveries and 5,083 deaths.
