Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has received the second shot of the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine earlier today.
President Zurabishvili received the first dose of the vaccine on March 18.
Salome Zurabishvili encourages all citizens to get vaccinated and help stop the pandemic:
Georgia received 43,200 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine on March 13. Later the country also received Pfizer, Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines.
Based on a new bilingual webpage datacov.moh.gov.ge launched by the Georgian Health Ministry, a total of 202,314 vaccine doses have been administered in Georgia. This includes 63,832 fully vaccinated individuals.
