Georgia reports 821 new cases of coronavirus, 866 recoveries, 31 deaths

Georgia has reported 821 new cases of coronavirus, 866 recoveries and 31 deaths in the past 24 hours.
38,478 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 23,864 of the 38,478 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 14,614 were PCR tests.
The country has had 351,249 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
2.77 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
335,895 of the 351,249 patients have recovered, while 4,982 have died from the virus.
Currently 10,346 individuals remain infected with Covid-19.

The new 821 cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 439 cases
- Adjara - 71 cases
- Imereti - 86 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 66 cases
- Shida Kartli - 22 cases
- Guria - 16 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 60 cases
- Kakheti - 31 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 15 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 8 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 7 cases

3,210 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 708 of the 3,210 patients are in critical condition. 199 of the 708 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
15, 234 individuals are in self-isolation.
More than 5,226,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
The World Bank has approved $34.5 million in additional financing today to support Georgia’s efforts to provide affordable and equitable access to Covid-19 vaccines, and ensure effective vaccine deployment in the country by strengthening the vaccination system, announces the World Bank.
Georgia has reported 1,023 new cases of coronavirus, 510 recoveries and 17 deaths in the past 24 hours. 29,517 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 21,585 of the 29,517 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 7,932 were PCR tests. The country has had 350,428 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 2.81 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
Georgia has reported 307 new cases of coronavirus, 1,014 recoveries and 24 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Head of Georgia’s National Centre for Disease Control Amiran Gamkrelidze said Georgia will receive 700 thousand doses of Novavax and up to 130 thousand doses of Johnson &Johnson Covid-19 vaccines in the third quarter of 2021 via the Covax platform.
Georgia has reported 705 new cases of coronavirus, 1,128 recoveries and 14 deaths in the past 24 hours. 33,253 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 19,138 of the 33,253 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 14,115 were PCR tests. The country has had 351,954 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 2.75 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
