The Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia has launched criminal proceedings against two heads of two different companies for falsifying disinfectants.
Law enforcers found that the heads of the companies had systematically manufactured, packaged and sold falsified disinfectants.
The disinfectants produced by the two different companies did not contain the substances indicated on the label and did not meet quality requirements set by the National Centre for Disease Control”, reads an official statement of the Investigation Service of the Finance Ministry.
The crime is punishable by one to three years in prison.
