Georgia reports 1,056 new cases of coronavirus of 38,921 tests

Georgia has reported 1,056 new cases of coronavirus, 1,071 recoveries and 28 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

38,921 tests have been conducted around the country on the weekend. 26,713 of the 38,921 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 12,208 were PCR tests.

The country has had 341,894 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 

3.68 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.

324,426 of the 341,894 patients have recovered, while 4,727 have died from the virus.

Currently 12,715 individuals remain infected with Covid-19.

• Tbilisi - 569 cases 
• Adjara - 102 cases 
• Imereti - 103 cases
• Kvemo Kartli - 58 cases 
• Shida Kartli - 40 cases 
• Guria - 14 cases 
• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 84 cases 
• Kakheti - 39 cases
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 24 cases
• Samtskhe-Javakheti - 16 cases
• Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 7 cases

3,937 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 913 of the 3,937 patients are in critical condition. 219 of the 913 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.

22,733 individuals are in self-isolation.

More than 4,894,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
