Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Polish President Andrzej Duda in Tbilisi earlier today.
Garibashvili thanked Duda for Poland’s ‘continued support’ for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and the country’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
Speaking about economic cooperation, Duda said that Georgian products are increasingly popular among Polish consumers.

An agreement has been reached on organising business forums and further strengthening of business contacts, “ the government of Georgia press office said.
Duda and Garibashvili stated that Georgia and Poland enjoy close cooperation in the defence field which includes joint exercises
They discussed the current situation in Georgia’s Russian-occupied Tskhinvali and Abkhazia regions.
Garibashvili reiterated that Georgia supports only a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
