Restaurants, bars, cafes allowed to receive guests indoors on weekends starting June 1
The transfer or concession of space for social and mass entertainment events was banned in Georgia early in April against the backdrop of increased Covid-19 cases. Private entities who will violate this new rule will be fined 2,000 GEL, while legal entities will be fined 10,000 GEL.

Restaurants, bars and cafes will be able to receive guests indoors on weekends starting June 1 throughout Georgia, representative of the Interagency Coordination Council Giorgi Ghibradze said earlier today.
Restrictions on social gatherings of more than 10 people remain in force in the country in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
This includes large birthdays, weddings, funeral feasts and other public and ritual events.

After a year-long pause cinemas have reopened in Georgia, with a number of Covid-19 regulations. This includes the mandatory wearing of face masks and social distancing for visitors, who must be seated every other chair and in checker fashion.
The Georgian government has revealed live performances at food venues will be permitted starting on Friday, while children's entertainment venues and cinema theatres will reopen on April 1.
All 93 protected areas will reopen after six-months pause throughout Georgia on May 26, says the Agency of Protected Areas.
